Neodym-Eisen-Bor – NdFeB – ist das Beste der magnetischen Materialien. Die außergewöhnliche Qualität dieses Materials wird aber von der Betriebstemperatur beeinflusst, so dass eine Nutzung nur im Rahmen bestimmter Bedingungen möglich ist. Der Werkstoff wird in verschiedenen Bereichen eingesetzt und kann in speziellen Magneten seine Anwendung finden, um höchste Magnetkraft bei geringstem Platzbedarf zu erzielen.
